The Lemosho Route is known for its scenic beauty and the highest success rate of all routes on Kilimanjaro
Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to Lemosho Gate. Your journey begins with a short trek to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,800 meters) through dense rainforest.
Today, you’ll ascend through the moorlands to Shira Camp (3,800 meters). The landscape is stunning, with expansive views and a variety of plant life.
Your hike takes you to Barranco Camp (3,900 meters), passing through some of the most picturesque parts of Kilimanjaro. This day is also important for acclimatization.
The Barranco Wall presents a challenge, but it’s one of the highlights of this route. Afterward, you will reach Karanga Camp (4,000 meters).
Your trek continues to Barafu Camp (4,600 meters), where you’ll prepare for the final ascent to Uhuru Peak.
Your summit attempt begins in the early hours, reaching the top of Kilimanjaro at Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters). After celebrating the accomplishment, you’ll descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters).
After a final descent to Mweka Gate (1,640 meters), you’ll receive your summit certificate and be transferred to your accommodation or the airport for departure.
